Name: Matt “Cap’n Matt” Garfield

What grade are you in?: I’m a senior.

Team Status: Program Manager

Accomplishments: Serving the team through Robot Captain last year and being the program manager this year.

How has being on Team 5401 impact your life?: I have learned life skills such as teamwork, responsibility, leadership, and many more that will stick with me for the rest of my life. I believe my experience in FIRST and my time on team 5401 has made me more prepared to take on challenges and move on from high school.

What are your plans after high school? Has being apart of this team impacted your way of thinking about the future? If so, how?:  I plan on attending University, most likely Penn State for Aerospace Engineering.
