The Fighting Robotic Owls Summer Program!
The Fighting Robotic Owls Summer Program is happening again this year! Started for the first time in 2016, we've been able to spread STEM to so many students! We’re super excited to be back and we would love to see new/returning faces.
The program is 100% free. It’s for incoming 7th-9th graders from any school. Food will not be provided, however may be available for purchase.
The program will take place on Wednesdays from 4 pm to 7 pm, starting on June 19th, and ending on August 14th. Only 30 sign ups per grade so get in while you can!!!

What Will You Be Doing?
7th Grade
An introduction to FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC). Over the summer, they will work together and follow a guided experience to build and code a FTC robot from the previous season. This will prepare them for middle school robotics.
8th Grade
An introduction to manufacturing and 3D modeling/CAD. They will learn how to use Onshape to CAD a fidget toy, then manufacture its parts using the machines in the shop. When it's completed, they get to take it home, along with their newfound skills!
9th Grade
An introduction to FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). They will work together to manufacture pieces in the shop, assemble the robot, and then code it. If they join the team during the school year, they will be able to use this robot and compete at an offseason competition!
