Name: Ian “Mr.Rogers” McGorrey

What grade are you in?:  10

Team Status: I am a rookie from Tennent and I do all things manufacturing and safety.

Accomplishments: This year I have taken the role of watching Jimmy-James, Team 5401’s Lead Safety Engineer, so that I can go back to my school and be the FIRST Lead Safety Engineer.

How has being on Team 5401 impact your life?: Being on Team 5401 has  changed my life. I was able to meet new people and make new friends that have turned into family. I was also able to learn about many new things previously unknown to me.

What are your plans after high school? Has being apart of this team impacted your way of thinking about the future?: After high school, I plan on going to college for mechanical engineering, tentatively at Penn State. Being on this team has helped to train me to think even more outside the box than I had previously been doing and I hope to apply that to our future team back at Tennent.
