FIRST Lego League

In the 2018 season, we started a pilot program at two local elementary schools in order to gain an understanding of the FIRST Lego League and its benefits. Through this program, we've developed a strong grasp of how FLL operates and felt that every elementary school in our district should have the opportunity to start a team. When we reached out to Bensalem elementary teachers, many fell in love with the idea of FLL and agreed to help coach the teams. Every week leading up to their competition, our STEM Ambassadors would visit the schools in order to mentor their participants. After the competition season, we received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the elementary teachers and hope to continue our STEM Ambassador Initiative.
