Emily FRO of the Week

Name: Emily “Bey” Dougherty

What grade are you in?: I’m a Freshmen

Team Status: I’m a freshamore, I’m on the business team.

Accomplishments: In my freshmen year, I am the Sponsorship Manager, and one of the founders of Fro of the Week, and do a lot on social media.

How has being on Team 5401 impacted your life?: I spent a major part of this off season injured to my ankle. I also have severe hearing loss. People tend to be cruel about these two things, but not Team 5401. They have fully embraced me with loving arms and I am so blessed to be on the team.

What are your plans after high school? Has being apart of this team impacted your way of thinking about the future?: I had the opportunity to go the Comcast Boot Camp, and I realized that I have a secret love with all things business. My big dream I am striving for is to potentially study abroad and get a degree in anything business, and work for a big company in a big city. Originally, I wanted to follow in my mother’s footsteps and do something medically related.  

What’s your trademark saying the team knows you by?: “I’m sorry for what I said when I was hungry”
